Iran Claims Nuclear Trigger Documnets Forged

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claims that new documents showing that Iran plans to develop and test a trigger for a nuclear device were forged by the United States, BBC News.

Grand Ayatollah Hossein Ali Montazeri, a reformist cleric has died in Iran. Reformers are taking to the streets to honor Montazeri and to protest the current government, Globe and Mail.

The commander of 22,000 U.S. soldiers in northern Iraq has instituted a new rule that would bring any soldier under his command who becomes pregnant or any soldier who impregnates another under court martial. Maj. Gen. Anthony Cucolo says he needs all his troops available for duty, CNN.

New legislation in Mexico City, once signed by the city’s mayor, will make gay marriage legal. The legislation redefines marriage as a union between two individuals, Al Jazeera.
